The Salzburg Festival celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. A highlight of this special program is The Song of the Magic Island, a children’s opera premiering at the festival. To help young audiences engage with the characters and story, a special introduction will be offered beforehand. While designed for children, the opera is also highly entertaining for adults. Older children can attend on their own while parents enjoy another performance.
